Coming Soon: The Vagina Monologues 2014! Join Us!

If you are interested in being part of the V-Day movement and the 2014 community production of The Vagina Monologues, now is the time to get involved! We need volunteers, poster distributers, makeup and costume volunteers, fundraisers, and of course, performers to bring these powerful performances alive onstage. Please join us! We seek an enthusiastic team that is diverse in age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ability, and background. Being part of this production team is a powerful, fun, and memorable experience, and a unique way to make a difference. Absolutely no prior theater experience is needed- really!

If you would like more information about how to be involved behind the scenes or think that you might like to perform onstage, we ask that you attend ONE of the two Interest Meetings, where we will cover all the details. (Please note that while we welcome folks of all genders to participate in organizing this event, cisgender men are invited to support The Vagina Monologues to their fullest capacity by focusing on the off-stage assistance they can provide. Performance roles are open to anyone identifying as female, trans or gender-nonconforming.)

Interest Meetings will be held at The Wesley Center, 1236 Kincaid Street, Eugene.

-Sunday, January 19th, 1:00pm-3:00pm

-Wednesday, January 22nd, 6:00pm-8:00pm

If you are unable to attend either of the interest meetings, please contact us at the email below and we can work out an alternative plan.

The 6th Annual Eugene–Springfield Community Production of The Vagina Monologues is coming April 4th, 5th and 6th! The show will again be a benefit for Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) and will be held during April to highlight Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Vagina Monologues are performed annually all over the world as part of the V-Day international movement to speak out about violence against women and girls until the violence ends. All funds raised will be donated to SASS to provide crisis support, advocacy, support groups and other help to sexual assault survivors, as well as to continue providing community education and organizing to eradicate violence in all its forms.

Please contact us at for more information. We invite you to join us in this exciting event and be part of the global movement to end violence against women and girls!
